Kashi Jewellers was founded by Late Shri Keshav Nath Kapoor. First Jewellery Retailer in the City.
1977
Joined by Mr. Rajan Kapoor After completing his B. Tech from IIT- Kanpur and M.Tech from University of Toronto-Canada.
1978
Joined by Mrs. Shail Kapoor after completing her training in Fashion Designing from Academy of Fashion from Canada .
1979
First Retailer in the State to Start Exports. Exported to Middle Eastern Countries- Abu Dhabi , Kuwait and Saudi Arabia .
1985
Started Exports to United Kingdom Shifted to 59/37 Birhana Road Showroom
1986
First to hire maximum number of women as staff in Jewellery line
1990
First to Start Retailing Diamonds to Customer
1992
Started Exports to United States of America
1997
First to start Branded Jewellery in the state (UP).
2000
Started Exports to Europe
2002
Joined by Mr. Shreyansh Kapoor after completing his BSc. In Business From Indiana University- Kelley School of Business and Wharton Business School- University of Pennsylvania . He later completed his Graduate Diamond Certification from GIA (Gemological Institute of America)
2004
Shifted to the New Showroom.
2004
Complete Integration of Manufacturing, Exports and Retail.
Jan 2005
Awarded Star Export House Status- One of the highest honors given by the Government of India for having consistent exports.
Jan 2005
Became the oldest and the only BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) Certified Jeweller in the City.
June 2005
Nominated by Retail Jeweller for “Excellence in Jewellery” Award for being placed amongst the Top 4 Retailers in the country.
July 2005
Recognized by GIA (Gemological Institute of America) as achieving the highest number of Carat Points (Based on Technical Skills, Diamond know how and contribution to Gemological Society and Awareness to People) in Asia-India region.
Aug 2005
Chosen as an Industry Leader and a Stalwart in Jewellery Industry by Retail Management Group in the Country.
